Yesterday at the local market we met the most wonderful man selling handmade pizza bases, and honestly, it felt like meeting someone you’ve known forever. Just genuine, warm, beautiful energy.

We took some bases home and made margherita pizzas last night and WOW. Absolutely next level. The bases were perfect — fresh, full of flavour, crisp on the outside, soft in the middle… just bloody delicious. You can truly taste the care and passion that goes into making them.

There’s something really special about buying food from good people who genuinely love what they do. It felt like going home. We’ll 100% be back for more. Thank you for creating something so beautiful. Unfortunately you have made it impossible for us to want any other pizza base! Hehe

Our Christmas tradition is to have homemade pizzas on boxing day .

I recently discovered Calda Calda at the Manning Road Farmers Market, and I absolutely love their Roman Pinsa bases! They are handmade in Western Australia, and Aurelio uses only the highest-quality ingredients. The packaging is also absolutely lovely and prepared with so much care. These bases create restaurant-quality pizza at home in just 10 minutes. They are so delicious! They are so convenient, as you can store them in the pantry for quick access. The sauce available for purchase alongside the bases is also delicious. Aurelio provides fantastic service, and his passion for what he does really shines through in his products.

Delicious pinsa bases! I stumbled across this gem at Stirling Markets, and bought a pack to try. I use a pizza stone so the first time at recommended temp made it very crispy, second time I lowered the temp for a fluffier cook. These are so quick and easy, and absolutely delicious. Calda calda make pizza cravings easy and fun. Definitely a regular customer.

THE BEST!! I tried this pizza base when I was in perth and omg took me back to Italy. I now order these all the way to Sydney and it’s my favourite part of the week. These pizzas bases are sooo delicious and light, I eat them weekly!!! They are so easy and quick to prepare and taste like authentic bases. I eat a whole one to myself but also love to serve them when hosting sliced with olive oil, salt and rosemary!
